Book Review: 25 Questions You’re Afraid to Ask About Love, Sex and Intimacy

25205012My first impression of this book was that it provided insight on sexual questions that coming-of-age teens may be afraid to ask their parents or friends. But it really is targeted at much older audience.

My second impression was that the book is suitable for both sexes, but it’s mostly directed at women. Such ambiguities may be misleading for readers browsing the bookshop and many may find themselves disappointed with the content.

That being said, the book is a great resource into the topic of sex and intimacy, specifically in marriage. It is Christian-focused and therefore scripture based, looking at sex as God’s design for intimacy.

Author Juli Slattery, a clinical psychologist, delves into some of the questions her clients have brought to the table over the years, and tackles them with wise, practical-minded answers, established through years of experience and research.
